does anyone know why beretta is discontinuing their line of 92 pistols? is it in favor of the new ninety - two theyre coming out with? ive wanted a 92 brigadier inox for awhile and have been dragging my feet then just found out they arent gonna be around much longer...if i get one do you think getting parts for it would be a pain in future?

I doubt they would....it would be like Colt stopping production on the 1911 (or thier SA Revolvers)

Even if Beretta does stop, I'm sure Taurus will keep crankin them out.

Considering that Beretta has an on-going parts contract with my employer to provide parts for the 92FS, I don't figure you'll have much problem. We have a LOT of them.

Also, MILSURP parts will eventually be available.
