My only issue with mine is it doesn't like JHP, any and all FMJ ammo, it has been 100% reliable.
Close to, if not a few thousand rounds through it.
I've tried a bunch of brands, I finally gave up buying JHP. It just doesn't want to feed correctly. I think it has to do with the blunt nose of the hollow points, they get stuck feeding in, and the slide closes and jams them up. On occasion when it does feed, I can feel the slide hit the case before it loads.
Feed ramp issues? Who knows...
Other than that, it's a great gun.
Absoluelty love mine. The ergonomics of this gun are perfect. You won't regret owning this weapon.
And honestly, don't worry about a trigger job. Reading everyone parroting each-other about NEEDING to get trigger job may make you second guess a purchase. The M&P 9c has a fine trigger. No it isn't a target competition 2 pound trigger, but the mass complaint trigger is perfectly fine for us normal humans.
Besides, If this is a carry gun, you shouldn't be messing around with that trigger anyways. Leave it as it came from the factory. You're just opening yourself up to trouble.
In terms of opening yourself up to trouble, if you're in a situation where you need your concealed weapon, then you better be sure you can hit your target. In my opinion, getting the trigger job done makes this much easier to do as well as more likely to increase a person's training time with the gun (won't be as painful or frustrating to shoot).
