Did you go by Carr's and ask him? I was told there is a gunsmith just up the street from him on 138. I think I know the house but not sure. I'd hate to send you to the wrong house.

How could that possibly cost less than buying a "new" mosin? Using one of the machine gun bbls?

Yeah an old machinegun bbl, mostly I wanna do it just so I can say "I" did. Not too mention I think it would be cool and I'm to stubborn too abadon anything once I start no matter how futile...

Did you check out the m44? I'm pretty sure that's a good length... I contacted bullseye in woonsocket they said they work on everything you should give em a call...
