Looking to get a red dot for my 300 BLK, and likely going with the Sig Romeo5 (AAA powered). I can't decide between just the dot, or the circle dot. Putting up a poll - what's your vote & why?

Have one of my 1x4 scopes with both. Prefer a simple dot.

Too much to info when I want to be fast.

That said it’s on an AR, I use it up to 300 yards and it’s not used for precision target shooting. Mostly 3 gun type stuff.

Holosun has models that offer both where you can pick what you want displayed. I'm planning to get one or those for the AR10 pistol I'm building (once ready).

The floating doughnut O'death makes target acquisition much easier. Might not be a one shot stop but hits on target count.

For 300BLK I like the two dot reticle. The lower dot is 150 yards.

Depends on what your end use is.
2moa dot set to your loads PBR should do just fine for most things a red dot is good for.
The 65 moa ring ? I never really liked the "rings" I guess you could use it to range 5'6" tall targets?
Some say it can draw your center dot centered on your target better?
If you can try before you buy.
