A great elk season this year. Didn’t see big groups of them but ran into them every day we were out there. Filled my cow tag first day, not a huge one but meat is very tasty, great jerky. The other guys got a cow and 2 bulls, a great time had.

You gotta put in for it. It’s 500 something bucks. You can put in for first season, second season, archery and the long cow season. Each one being their own tag
