Calling all preppers or compulsive lawn waterers!
I have two 50 gal water storage barrels, four 15 gallon barrels, and 1 5 gallon barrel that need to find new homes. All have been stored inside and have the bung caps, with the exception of one 50 gal that is missing a bung cap (easily purchased online for ~$1.00).
You can store plenty of water, guarding against extended power outages that shut off the water supply or potential contaminated water supply (like when your town realizes they have too much lead in the water lines and shuts everything off!). I'm currently using the other two 50 gal barrels to store water.
Or, with a very easy attachment, you can hook this up to your gutter downspout and capture rainwater and use a spigot at the bottom to water your plants and lawn during water bans, proudly sporting a "Well Water in Use" sign to keep the pesky neighbors at bay!
