So there I was, enjoying a nice leisurely Turkey Day cleaning my PTR-91 for the shoot. Of course I removed the bolt:

Then something caught my eye:

Yikes! The number of the beast on my HK bolt! I guess this settles it once and for all:

I find the 'exploded drawing Glock 17' interesting.

They explode so consistently that they can actually draw the results ahead of time!

Hmmmm. Never had a Glock explode on me. Never seen one blow up, in person or by reliable source.

I have however, shot a whole bunch of 1911 pistols that didn't run right from a bunch of different manufacturers that screwed up, jammed up and generally held up some otherwise good range trips.

Like them or not, be it looks, trigger feel or the ultimate sin: polymer frame, they go bang every time and are fairly accurate.
