EOTech 512 reticle?

I mounted up the 512 this morning turned it on and noticed something odd.
Should the reticle of this sight look "fuzzy"? Like its made out of little star bursts?
I thought it was suppposed to be a crisp clean circle and MOA dot. What do you think, I've never seen a Holo sight on before.

Yup, that's normal.

It's crisp when your eyes are focused at distance - basically infinity. If you have even slightly off-perfect vision, it will be a little blurry without your vision correction on.

+1, you are looking across the room and not down range. You can get a little less blurry if you dial back the brightness as well. You want it bright enough to just see.

If you are far sighted and have reading glases on, it will look very fuzzy. Take the glasses off and focus at a distance and it will change dramatically.

yup but messing with the brightness should straightern it out for the most part

Its all true
I slipped out to the range for a few and it focused in as soon as I looked downrange. I love this sight so far.
