EOTech and Fixed Front site???

I need a flat top upper to mount an EOtech on, I'm wondering if a fixed Front site "gets in the way" when looking through the view window, should I spend more money for a railed gas block with a flip up front site???

Yes, it would. Best to get flip ups.

Using a EOTECH-specific riser would make the cowitness a lower 1/3rd cowitness (at least most of the risers I've seen). I have my reticle on the same plane as the sight plane and I don't even notice the front sight when shooting.

Yea, get the larue eotech riser and get a fixed sight. You will end up with lower 1/3 cowitness, which works well.
