Those are perfect for boots. Glad to hear it’s working for you. Good stuff.I use a Daltech wrap for my S&W 638 J-frame, but I always only wear hi-top leather boots. Best rig going, but not made for bare ankles...
Thanks again @cams

Yeah, pretty much just a well made and THIN shell to retain your gun.Is it because it's unlined?
In the scheme of things, they are all really very similar in shape and construction. The real quality comes from the materials and assembly. It doesn't look too dissimilar from my Apache
Run? No worries for me. I can hardly friggin walk. Jack.Yeah, pretty much just a well made and THIN shell to retain your gun.
No real soft padding, just a very strong mount that you can even run with and not have to keep looking behind you to see if it fell out...
The one @enbloc posted is just stretch material (used for burn victims so it breaths) and Velcro designed longer purposefully to wrap around the outside of a boot, with a holster slot and a mag slot.
Agreed. Many options to put things in those stretch mag pouches and comfortable and cheap enough you could have one on each boot for some EDC type stuff and forget it’s even there. Takes a load off your belt or pockets.Yep. One step up from duct-taping your Rosco to your boot... one BIG step.
I'm looking at them now, thanks. I like the stripped-down concept, and the prices are attractive.@Picton they do make similar models for wear with low quarter type shoes, those are padded or have sheepskin or something on them to make more comfortable.

I had great customer service from them as well both times. Emailed and asked them to make it with an extra mag pouch, total 2 mag pouches now, usually only comes with 1, bam, no problem. Sewed it right up.I'm looking at them now, thanks. I like the stripped-down concept, and the prices are attractive.
The Apache is cheap enough that you can just ditch it and get a new one once it gets smelly, say every couple of years. But I'm happy to save money where I can.
Great for strip clubs too. Chics always touching you all over there so don’t want them feeling a heater in your belt and freaking out. Just don’t forget to go in the bathroom before you leave and put it back in your belt or pocket in case some sleastack follows you out to try and rob you in the parking lot.
