FEG pistol?

If you are talking about the FEG Hi Power clone, I had one once. It worked fine, but it just didn't have the fit and finish of a true Browning. If I remember correctly it's a bit heavier than a Browning too. I sold it because I wasn't a big fan of SAO, which mine was.

I owned one for about 5 days. It had trigger problems -- the hi-power fire control system has a lot of parts. I don't know if that is indicative of FEG's in general. I am VERY happy with the "real" hi-power I got instead.

I've shot a P9R and liked it quite a lot. There are a couple of places on the net that claim it's a Hi-Power knockoff, but it's not, really; there's some resemblance but the guts are pretty different. FEG also makes the P9M, which is mostly part-for-part identical to a Browning Hi-Power.

WHOA .

the P9 is a HP clone the P9R is closer to a Smith and Wesson 39 or 59.

both look alot like a BHP and the P9r are often called a HP

lets find out what were talking about first.

The FEG PJK-9HP is the part-for-part HP clone. I sure liked mine. The silly thing was right at $200 with shipping and transfer. A real sleeper. I had Novaks milled into mine, and replaced a bunch of the "innards" with actual BHP parts I bought dirt cheap off eBay. Great trigger pull by just removing the mag disconnect, and a C&S Type II hammer to keep the darn thing from biting me.

Sold mine a while back because I just never shot it any more. My collection may not be huge, but I have the "Full Size 9mm Service Automatic" bin pretty full, and just never shot it.

But it was nice...
