Finally Got My First AR

First off I'd like to thank all of you who helped me a few weeks ago when I was trying to get an AR from out of state in state, it didn't work out needless to say.

This is what I ended up with, Stag Lower w/ pinned stock and a Bushmaster "Tuber" Upper. Overall I have about 500 into it and I'm pretty dang happy so far!

That's different. Has an interesting look to it. Where is your charging handle?

interesting. I have never seen an AR like that before. Wheres the charging handle?

Yeah its very different, both Bushmaster and DPMS made that upper for a few years. The Upper actually means something to me because that upper was the first AR I ever shot about 6 years ago. My fathers friend owned it and was willing to part with it when he knew I was looking to build a gun.

The charging handle is the final piece and should be here next week!

looks kinda like a heavy barrel varmint style upper with a full length tube hand guard, ain't been around ARs long but never seen one quite like that.

No which kinda sucks because Iron sights are pretty fun. I think the next upper I get will be a 24" Varmit upper which wont be able to use them either
