As the owner of a USPc .45 and previous owner of a USPc .40, I'll offer the unsolicited advice that they aren't worth the MA premium. YMMV.
I agree that the SA trigger is nothing to brag about. The DA trigger, on the other hand, is something to brag about -- it is by far the worst trigger of any pistol I've ever owned, bar none.As the current owner of both, I agree. The trigger is nothing to brag about and changing springs didn't make enough difference to matter.
Mine is reliable. The safety works in the correct direction (1911-like), the magazine release is overly stiff and poorly placed, the slide stop is generously sized and correctly placed, it has a relatively large amount of muzzle flip, the trigger guard is large enough to use with gloves, and the slide is stupidly oversized. I had a bear of time getting parts out of HK.interesting feedback, i have been thinking of getting a HK pistol. seems there are very strong feelings for and against.
