Today I picked up a Remington R1. It looks and feels good. Do any of you have one? If so hows does yours run?

I have one. Every time I pull the trigger it goes boom, just like it's supposed to. I have fed it cheap ammo as a rule. I do clean /lube regularly, so can't comment on how it runs dirty...

I had one it was a great 1911. I would have preferred the R1 enhanced maybe in a few months. Enjoy it

If u find the 6th or 7 th round ftf,

Check your mag release there might be a bur hanging up the follower..
I polished the feed ramp when I was at it no failures on 1000 rds .

I picked one up as my first 1911 as well. I've had zero issues with it and have put around 500 rounds through it probably.

Did anyone else polish the feed ramp. It does seem to have trouble loading the first round. Im slingshoting it as hard as i can

I polished the feed ramp. Work the action like crazy. Feeds fine now. I guess it just need to be used a bit. Love this thing.

When I was on 1911fourm.com befor I got banned for a funny pic every one used to say the same thing run 400-600 rounds through it . Then u can say the gun sucks .
