first experience with PMAGs, makes me hate MA AWB more

in the process of switching to normal AR308 lower from one that took PTR mags and ordered a few 10rd 308 PMAGs, man those things are sweet. Now if we could only get the standard capacity ones in MA... here's to wishful thinking

10 rd mags are irritating but do have their advantages:
-barrel stays cooler
-burn through less ammo - save $
-easy to count to 10 when loading them
-easy to keep track of round count while at range (total of of rounds = # of mags x 10)
-they're almost always in stock because nobody wants them

Im a free stater and i like shooting 10rd mags because of their size. That being said like having a 60rd pmag because i can.

I have a crapload of 30 round mags, and even some 75 round drums, but I still mostly use 10 round mags at the range.

I try to be deliberate with my shooting, and keep track of where my rounds are hitting. Dumping 30 round mags isn't too good for that. It is fun once in a while, though.

standard capacity mags are also annoying for shooting off the bench. I always own at least one low capacity mag for sighting in the gun.
