I just got the LCR and with all my firearms I know it is a good idea to clean it out first. i guess I am not used to having pieces to take apart but do I only have to clean the barrel and the 5 chambers? Should I oil anything else?
Thanks for any and all info!!!

I've never broken mine all the way down. Just give it a good cleaning and then a light coat of oil, and make sure your chambers and barrel are dry, and then blast away!

I just got mine last week. I shot it today and just cleaned it. You have it about right, also brush ( tooth brush) around the ejector and the ends of cylinder. You also have to oil the trigger every 1000 rounds ( including dry fire). How to is in your owners manual. It was really fun to shoot. This is my first revolver. Shoot it in the power crease ( first joint of finger), works better imo.

What are you using to conceal if this is your carry? I am very slim and tall so it sticks out of my pocket in my galco holster. I am thinking of ordering a Uncle Mike Ankle Holster. Because I work in cargo pants I feel it would be the best for me. Plus I have to tuck my shirt in which would take out IWB.

BTW, on some of my pants, I take them to the tailor and have her lengthen my pockets a few inches. Nice and deep and loose. Only costs a few bucks. Some pockets are deeper than others. Now that you know, shop for pants with deep pockets.
