anyone planning on attending?? I'm getting out of work early and heading up, not sure how much longer this one is going to last. Marlboro and Concord come close on the heels of this date and really kinda cramp things up a bit. But I love a good excuse to bag work and fondle guns.

IIRC there is no Fitchburg gun show this year. Maybe I'm wrong. I thought the Wilmington show a few weeks ago supplanted this one on the schedule.

Next show is Marlboro, 2nd/3rd of April. Then after that I think there is one in Concord, NH.

They emailed a friend and confirmed NO Fitchburg show this weekend, it's Marlboro next week April 2,3
 
Hey guys, thanks for the info. It was even listed in the March American Rifleman gun show listing. I took a ride to the Best Western after work, looked like an artesian well trade show going on there, and signs on all the doors "Gun show cancelled". So I'll still be taking the day off, if it's not too cold, I'll fire up the furnace and cast some more 9mm bullets. Gotta get reay for that upcoming NES shoot at Monadnock.

Yeah, Al (Competitor Pistol) told me the Fitchburg show was done last November. Word is that the folks who ran it were greedy and stupid. A marvelous combination that often leads to success. However, not in this case.

Al added that there is a move afoot to revive the Cheshire Fairgrounds Gun Shows (Swanzey, NH just south east of Keene) from years past. I hope so. It serves as an excellent venue for motorcycle swaps and such.

Just wanted to tell you of my adventure last weekend. Saw the Fichburg show on Cheaper Than Dirts gun show site. Conformed on Northeasts site, called Northeast. Got voicemail. Called the hotel next to the expo center and asked if the gun show was on today. She says "Yes it next door" I drove 200 miles, saw no cars. Walked into the hotel lobby (without a gun) and asked why I was told the gun show was going on today. She said, I thought your meant where it was supposed to be. OMG
Anyway, is the Marlborough show reall going on this weekend? I hope so, I was very upset last weekend.

I'm guessing you didn't log into NES on the 25th when I said this show wasn't happening. [laugh]

Anyway, as you can see its still up even after the show was cancelled. Just glad I found this site. Northeast's site leaves alot to be desired.

It's the only one that you should trust. The other sites (cheaperthandirt and gunshowmonster) simply copy what the root sites (promoter's sites) post. So when changes are made, they definitely lag.

FYI: I know a vendor setting up at the show (April 2nd and 3rd Best Western RPTC in Marlborough). And as of Tuesday when we last spoke, he was scheduled to be there. This show was added to the schedule because the Fitchburg shows were scrapped (way back when).
