Fitting - LOP dimensions, etc

Can anyone recommend a shop that can do some fitting work - I'd like to know what LOP fits me and how it changes with my hunting gear on. I've got a shotgun that fits me really well and I enjoy shooting it more than my goose gun. Does KTP or Cabelas offer anything?

Robin's Hollow. They may not carry the sort of shotgun you want, but they have knowledge and resources to fit you properly. Call ahead so that you are sure the right people are there the day you go.

Thanks Nicole - Do you know if they do fitting for rifles? That's really where I'm headed - My shotguns are all pretty much OEM dimensions and I work with them.

1. Put on your hunting / shooting gear
2. Bend shooting arm 90 degrees and bend trigger finger like you normally would to shoot
3. Measure from the crook of your elbow (taking into account your shooting gear) to the pad of your trigger finger. That's your rough LOP.
4. Adjust from there based on personal preference

Agreed... and Cole's is probably the highest end gunsmithing facility in the Northeast. They mainly do shotguns but they should be able to fit a stock to you.
