Hi:
I have a model1922 sn 49X, One of my first handguns, a gift from my Greek BIL (Ret. Greek AF Col.), This was his issued firearm and was about to be confiscated and probably destroyed during the 1967 Junta. I was in the USAF and stationed in Athens at the time, took the pistol and turned it into my Provost Marshall for safekeeping, bringing it back as hold baggage when I rotated. He's long past but got great enjoyment shooting it at my local range whenever he visited (which was quite often, after he retired he was commercial pilot for Olympic Airlines).
