Not to start a covid thread war, I just got this email.

This week, several of our employees were exposed to the COVID virus. Since the safety and well-being of our customers and employees is our #1 priority , we will be closed this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. During these 3 days we will sanitize the store and the entire Four Seasons staff will be tested on Friday and Saturday.

In order to return to work on Tuesday, employees must provide a negative test result. If not, they will not be able to return to work until they do.

Going forward we will put the plexiglass shields back up and we will be wearing masks. Strict sanitizing protocols will be in effect before and after every sale.

Customers will not be required to wear a mask but it is encouraged. However, we do request that you use a hand sanitizer that will be placed throughout the shop.

We apologize for this inconvenience. We feel that this is the best way to ensure the safest environment possible for customers and employees.

Thank you for your understanding. Carl

I was there last week and it was packed shoulder to shoulder. I wonder what day this exposure happened. I also got the email plus an email yesterday that said they were closing early because of a power outage. I wonder if that Covid was the real reason and there was no power outage

I was at the deli ticket emporium in Hookset this past Saturday, I think covid is illegal in NH.

Anybody ever eat at the BBQ place next door ?

Nobody even shops at Four Seasons anymore.

It’s too crowded!

There are no studies to show that plexiglass is effective at reducing virus spread. In fact, it was never CDC recommendation.

Ar four seasons, someone was exposed. Not tested positive, not even having the slightest symptoms. Aand, there's a vaccine out. Yup, shut the whole place down. 👏

Could be the local public health department doing a contact tracing thing and Carl's lawyers being overly cautious to avoid excuses to shut him down. They (lawyer of public health officials) could be the ones telling him to put up the useless to counterproductive Plexiglas.

It was one thing when the Cabaret put up the sneeze shields, it's another when your local gun store does. I was in Collectors this week and they still have them up.

I'm waiting patiently for @drgrant 's comment on the "deli ticket emporium's" new protective measures.

From the sounds of it its not really new, just a "regression" to whatever box store type crap they were doing before. (although not likely back to the
covid retard period where certain gun shops werent even allowing people in the shop without appointments etc).

Out of all the covidiocy the plastic shields were mostly the least offensive*, with one notable exception, a diner I frequent took those f***ing things down
immediately (as soon as the BOH cretin allowed them to) because they actually interfered with the ability for staff to pour coffee and clean counters quickly etc. (the shield was
so low a coffee pot couldn't even fit underneath it. )

*To put this in context, I'm not suggesting that any of that crap, whether plastic shields, or maskurbation or any of that shit actually does anything, but a plastic shield is least
impact (to the customers) at least. If its enough to keep some .gov retards away then its a low impact thing. Of course its annoying for the staff as idiots probably touch them all the time and get fingerprint and skinflint grease marks all over the things, etc.

this happened in a friends business. customer tested positive, told the govt goon that called everywhere they had been, and he got a visit from the health dept witch for an inspection

May be local pressure. As a point of contrast I dont remember seeing any of that shit at Cabelas, but as far as MA goes Cabelas might as well be physically located on another
planet. The way people act vs Covid inside the loop versus outside the loop is pretty dramatic, in terms of the shit wobblies do. Like you go into loop towns and there are still people wearing masks fully deployed, WHILE OUTSIDE etc. In NoCentMA at least people are more likely to pull the stupid thing down when they step outside.

Jesus, what are you a doctor or something?

Skinflint grease marks probably trigger the Karens something wicked.

While emptying a club PO Box I've taken to doing it maskless -
holding my breath in the Post Office the entire time.

Great Sheep reply. C'mon Man, don't fall for the panic porn like a teenage girl. Love the tards that are shitting their panties faster than Biden at the Pope's....over a "variant" that has symptoms like a mild cold. "A day or two of muscle aches, and a mild cough". The whole covid scam it the epitome of a Statist takeover of the country, and a lot of sheep here are eating it up.
