Franklin Rod & Gun Club or any range near Blackstone MA.

Does anyone know anything about Franklin Rod & Gun Club? I live in Blackstone and looking for a range that's not too far away. I tried finding info on Rockdale gun club in Whitinsville with no luck.

I miss the old days where you didn't need a rod and gun club or range. you just had to head to the Quarry's or Sandpits and no one would bother you.

I belong to Mansfield, That would be a hike from Blackstone.
I'm not a member here, but I've been to a few functions here. (chicken BBQ, game dinner, goose dinner etc) I know that it is close to Blackstone though.

There is also Wallum Lake Rod and Gun. Nice club, very good facilities, but not cheap unless you volunteer enough to work down your bill.

Wallum Lake is having their "walls of steel" event this weekend, it's probably the biggest pistol match in RI every year.

My recommendation is to take a drive over to these places on a Sunday morning, usually there are people at most clubs on Sundays. Look around, ask for info and a tour.
