I upgraded to a 4K compatible unit - this unit doesn't switch the 4K HDMI correctly (1080P is fine) as it was manufactured in 2013. It still works fully (as far as I know), I had to back run audio from my TV via an optical cable and switched inputs there so all the receiver did was power the 7.1 audio setup. The switching ability hasn't been used June 2021 when I upgraded the TV to go with the PS5 but there is no reason it should be bad.
Why did I switch? My wife and daughter decided the living room needed an upgrade (new paint/carpet/furniture) and they didn't like the 4 HDMI cables and the optical cable all running to the TV.
My wife wants me to bring it to the electronics recycler and pay $25 to toss it - I figure if someone here can use it - it's yours.
