Front Sight Paint Recommendation

I carry the finest 9mm semiauto known to mankind: Smith & Wesson 5906.

However, the only drawback is the front sight. I'd like to paint the front sight for better contrast but there are about eleventy billion types of paint on the internet for this purpose, and I can't figure out which one to use.

Any recommendations on a paint to use for this purpose? Some of the glow-in-the-dark types look good but I only want to try them of they're effective.

I've used my daughters glow in the dark nail polish. I painted the sight white first, then went over it with glow in the dark green. Works well.

Good question ! I have a 22 mag I've been thinking about glow sights on the cheap.

He painted a few of the sights on my guns when he did trigger jobs on them and they wear great. Once I Emailed him to ask what he used for paint but I never got any reply to that question.

I use white nail polish and then 3 coats of orange or red nail polish, all liberated from my teenager.

I have just used bright white nail polish. I have a little bottle of the glow-in-the-dark stuff but I haven't used it yet. I recently had Glock factory night sights installed on my G19 so I'm good to go in the low-viz department.

Sharpie paint-pens have worked great for me, and they're cheap.
