I used to say a sign on a school's doors won't stop a bad guy from walking in to do evil - I stand corrected.


Their website lists 10 schools in Laurens County School District. They probably had a few SROs that rotated from school to school, but now they have 45 trained and armed staff/teachers. “These teachers have the exact same training our deputies do. In fact, they have some training that is, I would say, about 3 levels above a deputy because they’re working with our SWAT teams, they’re going through schools with ‘simunition’ training, active shooter training, real life scenarios…” said Lt. Harrison.

They had 28 trained/armed staff in 2018 - so where's all the carnage and blood flowing in the hallways that the hand-wringing anti-gunners fear?
