Georgetown fish and game

I am looking to join the Georgetown fish and game club as it is close to my house and seems to have good amenities. I have never joined or attempted to join a club and I am unsure of how it works. It says you need sponsors which I know is standard but I do not know anyone apart of the club, how would I find sponsors to join the club. I know you must attend a meeting when turning in your application, is the goal to find a sponsor during the meeting?

Check their website and find out when the different ranges are open and go over and introduce yourself and ask what it takes to get a sponsor. I am sure you will find members that you may know or know someone you know willing to sponsor you. You will have to park outside the gate and walk in up to the club house. At Andover, prospective members come by when we have Trap and it's easy to talk to people. Good luck!

Members meeting takes place on the second Monday every month at 7:30PM. Print out an application and bring it to the meeting with payment. As far as a sponsor, we will find 2 members to sponsor you.
