Stammering Dan Malloy and his Democratic morons in the Senate and house are moving forward to trample our rights in this state. By partisan taskforce my ass. Quinnipiac released another fake poll saying the majority of Ct residents support these measures. Im sure the poll was skewed. Nothing being proposed would have stopped that psycho from killing those kids except maybe the storage laws and some are blatant money making schemes and the Republicans aren't much better. I hope we have lawyers on our side to fight these laws when they come up because I'm sure part of these laws will be confiscation without compensation just like last time and that is unconstitutional. Its hard to be a law abiding citizen when your rights are on the line. Its hard to say when enough is enough and you stop being a law abiding citizen.

I'm not giving anything up !!!!!!!!!! They better build more jails and hire more guards Oya the state is broke and we'll be in the hole evn more when Stag, Ruger,Colt and mossberg pack up and move. Great move Danny boy

NRA and NSSF will have a lobby day at the capital this Monday the 11th. This may be the last chance to be heard. I will be there.

Only if Stag, Colt, Ruger, NSSF and Mossberg would shut down opeartions for the day and send all their employees to the capital building....that would count for a few. They should be as upset as civilians as the laws will impact them as well.

Connecticut: Join NRA and Other Second Amendment Supporters for a Lobby Day to Protect Your Rights on March 11
Come to Hartford to Protect your Right to Keep and Bear Arms

On Monday, March 11, the National Rifle Association, in association with the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the Coalition of Connecticut Sportsmen and the Connecticut Citizens Defense League, will host a Lobby Day at the state Capitol in Hartford. Your presence is needed to communicate with your state legislators that you oppose passage of sweeping anti-gun legislation that is riddled with failed policies and infringes on the rights of law-abiding citizens.

This is your opportunity to Stand and Fight with the NRA and make your voice heard to your state lawmakers! If able, please schedule meetings with your state legislators in advance, and spend the day networking with other Second Amendment supporters.

Your active support is needed more than ever! Today, Senate Majority Leader Martin Looney, in coordination with other anti-gun Democrats, hijacked the “Bipartisan Task Force on Gun Violence” by releasing a partisan plan. This partisan plan eerily aligns with Governor Malloy’s recently announced package of disenfranchising proposals and includes a ban on standard capacity magazines, a gun rationing scheme and a ban on commonly owned semi-automatic rifles.

We need you to show up in Hartford on Monday to demonstrate your opposition to these proposals! Please come stand shoulder to shoulder with the NRA to fight for our Second Amendment rights!

Details for the Lobby Day:

Date: Monday, March 11
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Where: 300 Capitol Avenue in Hartford
Parking: Free parking will be available at Cabela’s in Hartford located at 475 East Hartford Boulevard North, East Hartford, CT 06118
Transportation: A complimentary shuttle service will run between Cabela’s and the state Capitol between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It is critical that you attend this important Lobby Day to show your support for our Second Amendment rights before it is too late. The NRA is fully invested in this fight to protect our freedoms, so please join us and other Second Amendment supporters on Monday, March 11.

If you are unable to attend the Lobby Day in Hartford, please contact your state Senator and state Representative and urge them to vote against any rights-infringing legislation. Click here to view contact information for your state legislators.
