The Glastonbury, CT Elks will be holding a Gun Show at on Saturday, March 4, 2006, to benefit range development. The focus will be pre-1898 firearms and militaria, 9-3, doors open for dealers at 7:30. For more information, such as getting a dealer table, contact Dave Holmes, [email protected].
By sheer coincidence, the Elks are having an all-you-can-eat Fillet Mignon
dinner on March 4th, starting at 7:00 PM. The menu consists of fillet mignon
(grilled to perfection), baked potato, salad, veggie, and dessert. The cost is
$25 per person. Margaritas and various other adult beverages will be available. Reservations are required by March 1st as this event usually is a sell-out, and they need to calculate the amount of dead cows to purchase. Reservations can be made by contacting Doug by e-mail ( [email protected] ), cable, telegraph, or smoke signal.
Directions to the Glastonbury Elks are available at:
http://www.n-ssa.org/NEWENG/NEreg/nesch.html
(scroll down past the schedule, and the directions and a link to maps are available)
The Glastonbury Elks host North-South Skirmish Association events, see:
http://www.n-ssa.org/NEWENG/NER.html
so the show tends to be older firearms, but also include casting and reloading equipment, competitive shooting accessories, Civil War and other militaria.
thanks
