I'm curious about the new grip on the 4th gen. Since no stores carry it as far as I know. Any one here have one and wouldn't mind a meet up to let me paw one. [smile]

I'm a member at Braintree. But wouldn't mind a drive out to your club not too far away.

Thanks!

The short version: With the M panel/strap installed it's the same as a 3rd gen G17 in grip OAL. It just feels better because the checkering on the grip is better. (more "traction"). Running it "bare" it is probably 2-3 mm shorter in the grip. than a 3rd gen 17.

It felt significantly better to me. My Glock 34 (and my previous Glock 17) are just a bit too big for me to comfortably reach the trigger. The Gen 4 Glock 17 let me comfortably reach the trigger, and didn't feel like as much of a brick in my hand. I'm eagerly awaiting the Gen 4 Glock 34.

I have a Gen 4 G19 and am hoping to meet up with someone in the next few weeks at the Braintree range to try one of their 1911's. I don't know if the G19 is something you would want to check out but if so I could bring it along that day.
