Hey everyone,

Just ordered a Glock 19 Gen 3 from a local shop. It should be in next week.

I'm having night sights put on it. Any other suggestions on accessories for it?

Grips/trigger/etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Drop a factory 3.5 connector in it (it won't make the trigger 3 pounds, but it'll "take the edge off" and drop a pound or so off wherever it is now, which is probably like 6-7 pounds) and upgrade the sights, and get a kydex holster that isn't a piece of crap. Done.

Ammo, Holster, Mags.
I really disliked the grip on my Gen 3 compared to my gen4 so I stippled it. YMMV

Sights will be done when it comes in. Trigger is also being done as well. I'll have to try it and decide if I need to do grips/wrap when I try it out. I will be picking up a holster when I pick it up this week. Sounds like I have everything covered (without knowing I did)

I personally like the extended mag and slide releases. I also stippled mine and love the feel. I like it a lot but on extended range sessions it is a little aggressive. I also added a mag well cut since the pre-ban mags (U-notch) aren't drop free. And like the others have stated a good holster.

Forgot I added an extended mag release to mine as well. It just felt too short.
Is the gen4 release longer than the gen3?

Not sure if asking me but I will answer. I have no idea, mines a gen3 and I haven't spent any quality time with a gen4

I've found the glock buttplug to be worthwhile, though I can't say I've had a reload hang up on me even without one in place. YMMV

Some consider this a "must have" accessory

I really like a trigger guard undercut on Glocks. Extended slide releases would very often prevent slide from locking back on last round, as I grip very high. Just my 2c

It must be very high... I run those things on my G19 and G17, never had a problem... but then again I have girl/small child hands, so thats probably half of it.

I should have mentioned... I got a Vickers release and factory extended slide release, but I don't know if I'd call either to be critical, although the Vickers mag release makes it a little easier to dump mags quickly. It's also not so far out that it could cause the mag to pop out on its own.

I recommend a full grip job with rear hump removal, finger groove removal, and undercut trigger - along with a carry texturing.

Or, shoot the thing for a while before making what might be unnecessary changes.
