I have the opportunity to trade for a hardly used Gen 4 Glock 21. I have never owned a Glock and was not a huge fan of the ones I have shot in the past(15 years ago), but its a glock and in Mass.
It will not be a carry gun and if I dont like it it should be easy to sell.
What do you Glock guys think of them? What do you think it would sell for here in Mass in the event that I hate it?

Like em a lot. Seem to be one of the least problematic guns I see at the range.
Not for everyone. Love em or hate em, not to much in betweeen.
Should be able to get around $600+/- in mass.

its a nice shooting .45

I mainly shoot glocks. I use the back strap with the beaver tail and can shoot all day.

Best of Luck with your decision.

I have one, it's a really sweet shooting 45. Surprisingly light recoil.

Gen4 is the way to go, prior to that it had a really thick grip which didn't work for some people (me). I believe the stock Gen4 (with no back straps) is equiv to a Gen3 21SF.

I also have no issue shooting coated lead reloads (mine) out of the stock barrel. No need to avoid lead in Glocks if you use some common sense.

my G21 gen 4 is one of the finest pistols i've ever owned. if you like 45acp, take it.

My dad has one and when we visited my sixteen year old son loved that pistol. He shot it so well. I tried it and its a really soft shooter. The recoil felt a little softer and smoother than the same ammo in a 5" kimber

Had a Gen 4 , its a decent shooter. Its little big for carry. Though I carried it in the winter when I had it. Realisically, though it ends up being a range gun, and a 1911 trigger is better, and a 1911 shoots better at the range. That's what mine was sold to buy.

I ended up selling my G21 Gen4 in NIB condition with good night sites for 550 rather quickly in like 3 days. If you have no mags or one mag expect to get less. I would pay no more than 500 for it with no mags. It's not some grail gun, people can get Gen4 easily. Plus they go for more in MA, but people on this site are cheap as shit. Myself included.

I consolidated all my glocks down to one full size nightstand G22, and one carry G32.

I'll probably end up getting another G21 for some reason or another though when i get out of this wretched shithole of a state in a year or two.

I like mine. And my 30(SF?? I forget). I just don't get it to the range that much. Not that I get ANYTHING to the range that much, but it's one of the last things I think to bring.
