I'm considering pulling the trigger (no pun intended) on a 9mm conversion barrel for my (Gen 2) Glock 22.

to be specific.

My question is this: What else do I need to make this work, aside from the obvious correct magazine. It seems from the way it's put that all I need do is drop the barrel in and go. Just seems to easy.

I'm still new to shooting, and very new to "fiddling" with my firearms. So please keep that in mind.

Thanks for your time! [cheers]

It will work. I wouldn't trust it for carry without at least the 9mm guide rod, extractor and ejector.

For the range, you're good to go.

Remsport makes conversion barrels, send john a message or give him a call, probably cheaper than the lone wolf barrel and great quality.

I used a Remsport 9mm conversion barrel in my G22 when I still had it. I had no issues with it.

Remsport barrels are worth the money. IIRC when I bought mine it was $70. You can also get extended ported barrels from Remsport.
