Guys,

Tonight I did the 3.5 trigger pull mod on my Glock. I was watching a Youtube video as a guide since this was my first time doing it. I noticed in the film I was watching there was a spring which was part of the assembly (trigger spring). I noticed on my Glock I didn't have a spring and instead I had a spring loaded lever:

So I was looking online and noticed in Glock 22 schematics that there should be a spring present (#25 in the schematic).

My guess is that this lever part is present in the gen 2's but not in the newer gens? Was wondering if someone had an explanation to this?

You have a New York Trigger Spring. I have to check but I don't think you should use a 3 1/2 lb connector with it.
o.k. I just checked NY Trigger Springs should only be used with a 4.5 or 5.5 connector.

I was just about to ask that cause it seems I can take that lever piece out. I do have the trigger spring handy so I'll give that a shot. Thanks for all the help guys. Good thing I asked about this!!!
