I have a 2nd gen Glock 23 that I installed a Scherer 3.5 lbs connector in quite a few years ago. The trigger always felt great until about a year or so ago. I began to notice that when dry firing the pistol, even with a firm grip and proper trigger technique, the pistol has a tendency to pull sharply to the left when the trigger breaks, and the trigger makes a noticeably loud clicking sound. I know it's not my trigger technique, because none of my other pistols do this, including my Glock 30. When dry firing the 23 with the 3.5# connector and the Glock 30 with the stock connector side by side, the 30 feels much smoother and actually feels like a lighter pull.
I have always kept the Glock 23 very clean and lubricated (but not over-lubricated), and I always put a drop of gun oil where the connector meets the trigger bar.
Any thoughts or advice? Should I take it to a GlockSmith and have him look it over? Would the Glock guy at Four Seasons in Woburn be a decent place to start?
Thanks in advance.
** EDIT: I forgot to mention that I'm a left-handed shooter, for what that's worth.
