Glock Gen4 Legal in MA

I just noticed this was updated. Does it mean as an MA resident I can legally buy a new one? Or is this more a list for LEO's to purschase for Duty?

yes, you can buy it if the dealer sell it to you.

You can certainly buy a new Glock with no legal exposure whatsoever. There's a slim chance a dealer will sell you one due to the AG's regulations.

So basically it's the same issue we have always had before in MA. Nothing has changed and the Dealer most likely will not Sell them to private personal.

That's correct. If you walked into, say, Four Seasons and tried to buy a Gen4, they would not sell it to you.

I figured..thanks Guys. Just wanted to claify. I almost sh*t a brick because i just bought a Glock 23 from FS about a month ago which was obviously pre 1998 so when i saw this i was like "figures"

There are many Gen 4 glock on the classified section. Price is comparable to FS.

CMRs covering unfair and deceptive trade practices, made by the attorney general. They have the force of law. Glocks fall under this because they don't have a mag disconnect or loaded chamber indicator.

and the trigger pressure is 5.5 lbs with the new gen 4's, so mass, it has to have a 10 lb trigger and cant hold more than 10 rounds in the magazine as well

The only way as a Ma resident, you can purchase a gen4 Glock, is a FTF purchase from another Ma resident, or if you know a dealer who will do a transfer. If you do, please do not post the name here.
