I recently got my LTC (Class A, no restrictions) and I am interested in buying a Glock 19. I wondered what my options are - as I was up at 4 Seasons over the weekend and they had nothing in stock... the 17 that they had was somewhat beat-up - and they are pretty expensive even in that condition. Maybe I am naïve, and my expectations are too high, but I am looking to get something in really good/new condition - like a refurb, etc. I have been reading the forums and the classifieds and have seen several instances of purchases (and people talking about having just bought a Gen 4 19 or some other Glock). How are they accomplishing that? Again, pardon my ignorance...

Check the classifieds buy one off here, go green and support he forum too. You'll learn a lot. FYI no one will post here how they purchase new Glocks in mass don't bother asking.

No new Glocks in Mass the Glock has to be made prior to 98 I believe.

Face to Face transaction. Someone has Glock 19 for sale, you meet them, exchange information (valid license), signature on the line for a FA10 transfer and then the paperwork gets sent in. You go home with your "new to you" Glock.

Wait for gun sites to be selling older glocks that any FFl with transfer in gen 1 gen 2. Some gen 3.

Buy a timber wolf frame And build a glock style gun.

You can legally own a new glock if a dealer transfers one to you , only the FFl can get in trouble. Don't ask you won't get a answer.

Essayist way to get a new one is buy it private sale and get raped on the price.

Read the the FAQ and rules.
