what's the best way to adjust the rear sights on a glock with fixed sights?

I read some articles on the web about using plastic screw drivers/hammers, etc.

should I hammer it?
should I get the tool for 100$+?

want to hear from the wise folks of NES.....

The Glock trigger is difficult to master. New shooters typically shoot low and left, due to difficulty controlling the trigger. The solution is generally not to adjust the sights, but to master the trigger.

Where are you in MA? Do you know an experienced shooter? If you are near Metrowest, we could meet and I could shoot your Glock to get another view as to whether the sights are properly adjusted.

Don't hammer it!
There are many people who have the Glock sight tool and will be happy to help you out. You have Business End up north, Jon in the middle and I'm on the south shore. Either of us can and will help you out. It only take a few minutes with the sight tool to adjust them.

Folks.. thanks so much for the offers to help, especially from guys with the tool.

I'll go to the range and focus on my trigger technique. I will also bring a sand bag to shoot from a totally static position to see what I get. I'll need to rule out the bad trigger technique first.
