Just got a used, LE Trade In, G19 GEN 2. It has a NY1 trigger.
The issue is i can move the trigger forward AFTER pulling the trigger(only dry fired, no range time yet). It doesn't reset the firing action.
So basically i rack the slide, pull the trigger, and the trigger should stay back(like it does with my G22, GEN3).
BUT i can push the trigger forward and i hear a click sound.
Any ideas on what's wrong?
Or parts to check/replace?
Thanks

Your ny1 trigger is working as intended. It's a different system than the standard trigger spring system.

Rip all that shit out of the gun and fix it, put non-gay parts in gun, go back to normal land. Problem solved. [laugh]

All you need is a glock spring. Take out the plastic piece and put the spring in. They instal opposite of each other, don't try to instal the spring the way that plastic piece is installed, if that makes any sense.

The "regular" spring (i.e. not in its own plastic housing) should look like an 'S' when viewed from the right side of the ejector housing.

Your Glock is fine. If you dry fire it, then push the trigger forward, it will click and lock in place because the trigger safety engages. It will not be able to fire at this point.

Maybe it's just me but I'm actually a fan of the NY1 trigger spring with a Glock OEM - connector combo. Gives it a more consistent DA style trigger with a more positive reset IMO.

Hope I notice a lighter but stiff pull once I install the LED 3.5 Connector.
