So i am interested in attaching a comp to some threaded 9mm handguns. Threading is 1/2x28. I have no experience w external comps, really onl ported barrels.

So whats a good comp/brake that i should get? I have been eyeing the lone wolf one since its like $60 and looks nice.

input appreciated.

What do you intend to do with this pistol?
If looking nice is all you want then get the one that looks nice.

Pistol compensators work much better with very gassy rounds. Usually a slower burning powder, and lots of it, a max or even over max load. In the action pistol world this is called a major power factor load. You will see that some compensator manufactures offer at least 2 versions. A 4 port and a 3 port. The 4 will make most use of a mojor load to keep the recoil impulse flat. A 3 port will be less effective overall, but more suited to factory ammo, or minor power factor reloads.
