I used to boil them outside on the propane stove. Gross and time consuming, especially trying to get the brains out. Ive done more than a dozen that way.
Boil, clean, then use some hairdresser peroxide paste to whiten.

Last one I did I used the fake plastic skull kit and just put the horns on it. It actually looks pretty darn good. If I had to do it again, that's what I'm doing.

One of my sons did a moose head with a high pressure washer. Made a friggin mess but it worked. Jack.

When I've done european mounts for deer heads, I just bury them in the garden for 3 months...then just a little washing and onto my wall!

Up in Alaska they have beetle tanks big enough to put moose heads into. The politicians could be hung in head first and that should do it. Jack.

I don't know . . . Their heads are pretty swelled up, . . . . Not with brains, but lots of " Pork".
