GSG-1911 .22, any guess if it will be Mass compliant / legal for sale?

Anyone heard any Mass dealer scuttlebutt about the American Tactical / German Sport Guns 1911 .22 LR clone?

I emailed the company a couple weeks ago and asked if Mass compliance was in the works, never got a response.

It is due for release in the Fall but, pre-orders are popping up already for $286.30.

Supposedly, it will be a 1911 clone with interchangeable parts.

A full 1911 clone in .22LR for less than a conversion has my attention I just hope we don't get boned here in Mass. [sad2]

If it's made anything like the GSG-5, It'll never pass the melt test.

As someone in the High Road thread pointed out, the frame appears to be a two piece die cast construction.

No way we will see it here. I can't imagine that the demand here in MA. would be enough to warrant ATI to make it acceptable to our corrupt state goverment.

Get a Marvel kit and a Caspian frame if you want a dedicated 1911 platform pistol in 22 LR.
