I made a gun safe out of a coke vending machine and I put it in my basement. I am concerned about rust so I put a golden rod and a remington mini dehumidifiyer in it and now im just wondering wat the humidity should be inside so my guns dont rust. So I was curious as to if anyone could give me some insight as to how much humidity should be inside.

The convention wisdom seems to be that around 50% is preferred. Some have said that going too low risks drying out wood stocks.

How much does it charge?

This is just a quick one but I can get more

I get a [x] image, but can see it if I click through. (try photobucket)

Cool safe, I guess literally unless you took out the refrigeration parts, too! Leave the graphic panels on and lighted and your average burglar might not even realize what is inside [laugh]

yea...when its closed it looks like a regular vending machine. You would never know that it has guns inside. So do you guys think that the guns inside a protected enough from rusting?
