Gunsmithing in the North Shore?

I've got a Hi-Power that I'm interested in putting night sights on, but it's hard around here to find anyone who will do much of anything in the way of gunsmithing. Last time I wanted work done I ended up going all the way to State Line for it, but I don't really feel like wasting half a day and all that gas driving back and forth. Can anyone suggest any good, reputable options a little closer to home?

Nope... I've never changed sights on a pistol before, still looking into what I'd actually want to buy. The front sight is fixed so I know that's going to be some work, but it's got an adjustable rear sight.

There are three different sights types for the HP. Be sure you find someone who knows the HP models and the differences. I like the Heini set up for the HP but it requires some machine work to the slide. Funny, I have four HPs in the shop now, must be a blue moon.

I've had both Greg and Lou work on several of my handguns and both do outstanding work.

I forget what I was charged it was $50-60 and I was quoted about a week but had it back quicker than that.
I think I'm gonna go with red Loctite on my next build. Heating something up to 500* to remove it seems pretty ****ing permanent to me. And isn't much different, IMO than having to heat it up to 1100* to remove silver soldering. IANAL, YMMV, etc.,

Yes, Plus or minus $10. But I think it was around $50. Not sure if his prices changed.....
