H&R Pardner Pump

I'm new to shotguns I got this 12ga Pardner Pump. I believe it's the 28inch barrel? Here's a pic at the bottom to compare.

I am looking for some info about doing stuff to this shotgun. I'd like a mag extender, looking those up I found that Remington 870 mag extenders fit without modification am I correct? I am looking to do a +3

Also can the barrel be interchanged for say the shorter barrel. What is it the 18inch?

What do you guys recommend for sights? No scopes, just some sort of an iron sight that will work.

Any specific source you recommend?

I like mine a lot. Do some research, you will find all of your answers.
870 barrels do not fit without work. Nearly everything else is gtg.

I don't mean 870 barrels, I meant the mag extender for +3 rounds

Are there barrels available to swap? So its possible right? What if I got a barrel from the Pardner Protector?

Also, there's no limits on what I can add to a shotgun like a "Assault rifle" right? IE: no bayonet lug, flash suppressor, collapsible stock, pistol grip shenanigans?
