Umm, 45 watts is pretty low for panels that size. Modern panels are giving more like 100-200 watts per square meter, as I recall.

True, but, wouldn't a modern panel run you closer to $400? These are budget/hobby panels. There's a market niche for them.

I've heard OK things about them from other boards that I'm a member. I also heard on the negative side that they fog up after a year bringing their productivity down to 10% of design.

I consider them hobbyist panels. The thread in the top post has some good info. I was thinking of getting them as a learning setup and for some experimenting.
