halifax walmart ammo sale

hubby just stopped at the halifax walmart on the way home. Ammo is 33% off.
Not much left, but he said they have
shotgun: .410, 12g, 20g
1 box .270
1 box remington 7mm
he bought as much as he could carry

oh, the sale is for selling off remaining ammo, they are going to close the store and remodel. I guess they can not transport the ammo, so they are selling off what is left.

They are fearful of "possible" policy changes regarding the sale of ammunition in the Obama administration. They are hesitant to restock, fearful of being stuck with ammo. This has been the response from many sales folks at various Walmarts in South eastern MA.

you are aware that they is a shortage all over the country,mainly because it is being bought by the case and pallet.the ammo companies cant keep up.its one thing to dedicate the line for say military ammo but another to make a hundred different cart.
