CCDL: Support HB7052 - An Act Concerning Large Capacity Magazines and Ammunition Sales

Connecticut gun owners, here’s your chance to support a pro-gun bill! HB7052 raises the magazine capacity limit from 10 to 15 rounds and allows ranges and gun clubs to sell ammo for on-site use. Proposed by Rep. Mark Anderson, this bill is a step toward protecting our freedoms.

Why it matters:
  • Magazine limits endanger law-abiding gun owners while criminals ignore them.
  • Data shows legal gun owners aren’t the problem—more arrests happen for illegal, undeclared magazines in one year than for declared ones over the last decade.
  • Since 2016, less than 8% of illegal magazine charges lead to convictions.
  • Magazine bans lack historical basis and clash with the Bruen decision.
  • Pre-SB1160 gun owners and new residents deserve the right to train with their firearms without extra fees.
