Help! M1 Carbine stock ID

Not USGI (I think?). Can anyone recognize this.
The buttplate says Fajen however I do not think it came with the stock, because it was coarsely ground down all around to fit the profile of the butt.

stock isn't original, rear sights aren't either
manufacturer and serial will be on the receiver under that rear sight
