Someone please help, I just don't understand what I'm reading. I read the MA EOPS Approved Firearm Roster (July 2012) and there aren't any new production Springfield Armory items anywhere on the list. I thought the Range Officer and the XD's were MA OK? Also, it states there are many Gen 4 Glock models that are OK. Is this right, I thought only pre '98 Glocks were OK? Be kind and thanks in advance for any help.

The only way to get any Springfield pistol is via a private transfer/sale. Springfield, Colt, FNH, H&K NAA, Steyr are some of the manufacturers that refuse to submit firearms for testing in accordance with MA Regs. just to sell in MA. Glocks are on the Approved List, but a 1998 AG regulation, prohibit dealers from selling new Glocks made after 10/21/1998 to civilians. LEO & dealers are exempt from that reg.
