ok guys and gals I need some help here. I am choosing a bag not only for bug out but also for my duty gear. I have 3 choices of bags but I don't know which one to choose. my gear consists of a duty belt, my uniform (shirt), bullet resistant vest, radio, etc. I want something with room but isn't huge. here are the links to the bags but I need input on which one would fit my gear comfortably. I am also gonna use this bag when I go to the range too. I already have a tac vest to. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007V98I7U...lid=3R6M1CF1CML8Z&coliid=I1DS6TOKJLTR0X&psc=1.

1) If you're going to set up a "bug-out" / "get-home" bag, it needs to be dedicated. Once you start swapping load-outs on a regular basis, you're going to lose shit, leave it at home, etc.

2) I'm of the mind that, for BO/GH use, tacticool is not a good thing.

Get a good sized MOLLE/PALS bag for your duty gear, and a LL Bean bookbag or something for your BOB.

I have a 5.11 rush 72 and highly recommend it. It's very well built and big enough for plenty of gear. I suggest that whatever you buy, get in a neutral color that doesn't scream "tactical". If you are bugging out, other people probably will be also and they are most likely not going to be as well prepared as you.

Blend in with the sheep as best you can.

thanks for the help guys greatly appreciated. as for color it would just be a black bag would be digital or tan or anything like that. I was looking at these backs for not only there storage but of multi use. if I had to choose one of the 3 that I linked to this thread what would it be that's what im stuck on. im still looking and its def taking some time. I saw the rush 72 and really liked it.

I use an old east pack pos in one car and a north face as my get home bag from the office.

If you have a tacticool bag in plain site In a car... toss it in a $10 ocean St job lot duffel to hide it...

Its fine for the range and moving duty gear too and from work. But If you want to blend in on a subway look for a jansport large student.

i second the 5.11 covrt 18. i have one and its perfect for edc/get home bag. it doesnt stand out and has plenty of storage capacity. if you want to be a little more tacticool try the 5.11 all hazards prime for a bob. more expensive but def worth the money. 5.11 makes quality gear as far as bags go
