Here’s proof that AR-15s are weapons of war

I could only make a minute or so. Sorry but I don't like taking a bite from a horse sh*t sandwich this early in the morning.

These reporters, media talking heads, whatever, LOVE LOVE LOVE their fear porn. They have a captive audience of low information left wingers who are still hiding in their basements because covid is right outside their front door waiting to kill them. So they make up any kind of nonsense to keep the congregation coming back to the channel every single night so that MSNBC can continue to survive from moment to moment by offering their helpless lefties advertising for all kinds of pharmaceuticals, Buicks, shampoo and the latest sale items at the local target (available for curbside no contact pickup in case one of them has to leave the house and enter the covid infested world).

The audience for that diatribe wasn't for us, it was for them.

First you have a mouth piece from the Communist Media and then a Congressman who is a member of the Communist Party stroking himself as having been in the military, There is where I will say with out a doubt was his first and only indoctrination to firearms.

I've literally had this discussion:

"If AR15's are weapons of war, how come no militaries use them?"
"They do! They use the M16"
"Different gun. Fully automatic."
"It's exactly the same gun."
"If it's exactly the same, why don't they use the semi-version?"
"They're exactly the same gun. They're equally deadly."
"OK, if they're exactly the same gun, and equally deadly...can I convert my AR15 to fully auto? Would that be OK? You said they're exactly the same."
"NO! Machine guns are WAY MORE DEADLY."
"Uh...but you said..."

The ar-15 takes heads and arms completely off.

Holy crap!

I’ve read the EXACT reports this cuck is referencing at the end of his video, and they were made in the earliest days of the m16’s issue in Vietnam.

The intention of the reports was to tell the brass that a different combination of ammunition was needed in order to fight the war effectively because the projectile/twist rate combination were not as well matched as previously bench tested.

New combinations of bullets were tested to match the twist rate of the weapons and the mid air tumbling (keyholing) issue was remedied in short order.

Key take always:

-these are real reports that were describing the ineffectiveness of the M16 with the (then) current ammunition offering

-in typical cuck fashion, this f***-stick took the report and twisted it to suit the narrative that these are the kind of normal physical damages you can expect from ANY M16/AR15 pattern rifle.

I think horribly biased journalism is 100X more dangerous than a single firearm.

Fudds who think no one should own a sporting rifle should be shunned until they dry up and disappear.

They always believe that banning something will remove the problem forever.

OMG, you need to hold back the puke and try to make it further into the vid.

Holy crap!

Yeah I heard that and was like what?
I mean.... my 6.8 with hollow points will definitely f*** up your weave...

It was said in 'Nam that it did this, pretty sure 6.8 wasn't used there and then lol

Wait until they find out the point of the second amendment is to fight the government
the whole concept of citizens being able to wage a war against their oppressors is the topic, absolutely.
it is a big mistake to assume those who want to take weapons away do not understand the point. they do, perfectly fine.
and it is not about AR15s, it is 'weapons'. narrative is changing, not sure if you noticed.

I remember I was in collitch when they "banned" African American Talons. Watching Dateline NBC or something talk about it. Some doctor talking about how it bounces around inside of you slicing you to ribbons. A bad graphic of an expanded hollow point bouncing around inside an illustrated torso.

I was deeply concerned about them back then. I WAS the ignert-voter-guy. I can totally see how this sucks people in. Most people don't have the bandwidth to track anything beyond the drive home from work and trying to put food on the table.

The worst part is that this isn't even hiding that it's propaganda. There's so much about the structure of his statement that is directed towards preferred policy.

Meh the left wing media is feeding their side of the aisle quite literally sh*t on a shingle and they have fooled their audience into thinking it's a gourmet meal. The funny thing is the people who watch this crap are thinking "wow I feel so informed and smart now" and not realize how low on the information totem pole they really are.

Hey a lot of us were stupid ignorant voters once upon a time. I was a college kid and didn't think much about anything because I was too busy working on getting through 4 years of school. I would have gleefully signed up to any gun ban *because* I was stupid and ignorant at the time. I honestly never heard of the Hughes amendment for example until I became a gun owner.

Someone help me out here.

Anthony Brown says "These were the very type of weapons issued to me, issued to my colleagues when I went to Afghanistan"

Is the military issuing semi-automatic rifles for combat? Or is he just saying "oh tis is a weapon of war and they gave me a weapon of war to go to combat". There's differences in logic here, the former being the actual type of weapon, the latter being the a exaggeration based on a ungrounded assumption.

"They are designed to inflict as much harm and death as humanly possible"

Isn't that technically against the Geneva convention? Like, if you really wanted to do this wouldn't it basically be a different platform? I mean, I don't want to point to the AK here, but we all know the AK's 7.62 round probably achieves this goal better than the AR. Also, what happens when you have an AR chambered in .22LR or 6.5 creed? Is it still designed for as much death as possible? .22 might be the most killy bullet of all time, but I'm pretty sure the 6.5 creed was designed for accuracy over stopping power.

American rifleman quote "... none of these hard bitten veterans... had ever witnessed kinds of devistating wounds..." -pg 373, American Rifle

"The ARPA report's findings prompted its readers in Washington either to become convinced advocates for the AR-15 or to guffaw. Claims as to its lethality, the latter argued, were outlandishly absurd and clearly exaggerated. The point was lent some credence by the inability of anybody to replicate the astonishing results obtained in Vietnam. The army wound ballistics lab at Edgewood Arsenal used ballistic gel blocks and anesthetized goats as stand-ins for Vietcong guerillas but failed to reproduce the wounding characteristics... The unreproducible, remarkable ARPA [field] results were caused by Colts antiquated machinery..."- Pgs 374-375, American Rifle.

I watched further to listen to the rest, but basically they've taken a unreproducible report, clearly invalidated in later pages of the book, apply it to mass shooters,, and somehow people don't question why when we see these tragedies people aren't missing heads and limbs aren't hanging on the floor.

congress does not have the right to limit the types of firearms we purchase, possess and use. They also do not have the right to tell me which weapon to use when I am defending myself. Every weapon has an offensive use as well as a defensive use.

Are you telling me that in Vietnam no American base was ever over-run where American personal needed to "defend" themselves from that attack? And what did they say? "oh, we are in defensive mode. We can't use M-16's because they are not defensive weapons. Does anyone have a shotgun?"

And how nice of the Colt rep to come out and say how civilians shouldn't own these weapons after his family made their millions form the sales of these firearms.

And if Americans are so freaking concerned about being protected then maybe they start exercising their right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness by taking responsibility for themselves and carry a gun.

soviet 7.62 vs 5.45 transition was done mostly due to the fact that 7.62 at short distance sinks into the concrete walls and does not bounce much, so, for the urban warfare it was less productive. that is why troops in internal forces in russia are armed with 5.45mm - not a 7.62 that is used in the actual warfare combat operations and not an extermination campaigns against the population. easier, smaller, compact are also all a factor, of course, but, when i was talking to folks who trained me - that is what i was told, as a core reason, for what it takes. most cities in soviet places are built out of concrete slabs - all apartment buildings are concrete. no one builds houses out of paper there.

the whole rhetoric now, again, is very similar to what is done elsewhere. civil population is usually allowed to own 12ga shotguns and anything that has a smooth bore barrels ONLY. that is it. that properly keeps the killing distance of anything you can own way under the distance of the extermination squad to shoot you down with a proper 'weapons of war'.

The left has the media as collaborators and now big business with the woke/cancel culture BS. Just look at the hysteria of the Capital riot while ignoring BLM riots and Portland and Seattle. They are coming for us and make no bones about it. Just look at the fawning media at Dementia Joe's first press conference, a little different from Trump pressers.

"They are designed to inflict as much harm and death as humanly possible"

"They're designed to kill as many people as quickly possible."

I hear this all the time. My question is always "Why do police departments issue them? Do they want to kill as many people as quickly as possible?"
